Our commitment
At Puntborough we only list casinos licensed for customers in Great Britain, and we want every visitor to stay in control. Gambling should be a paid-for form of entertainment, like a cinema ticket. It is never a way to earn money, pay off debts or escape problems.
Simple rules for safer play
- Set a budget first. Decide how much you can afford to lose before you start, and stop when it's gone.
- Set a time limit. Use a timer or the casino's reality-check reminders so sessions don't run on.
- Never chase losses. Trying to win back money you've lost usually leads to losing more.
- Keep it separate. Never use money meant for rent, bills, food or other essentials.
- Take breaks. Step away regularly, and avoid gambling when you're stressed, upset or have been drinking.
- Read the terms. Bonuses come with wagering requirements, so understand them before you accept one.
Warning signs to look out for
It may be time to take a break or seek help if you notice that you are:
- spending more money or time gambling than you planned;
- borrowing money, selling belongings or missing bills to fund gambling;
- hiding your gambling from family or friends, or lying about it;
- feeling anxious, irritable or low when you aren't gambling;
- gambling to escape worries or to recover previous losses;
- neglecting work, study or relationships because of gambling.
Tools every UK-licensed casino must offer
Operators licensed by the UK Gambling Commission are required to give you tools to manage your play. Look for them in your account settings:
- Deposit limits – cap how much you can pay in each day, week or month.
- Reality checks – on-screen reminders showing how long you've been playing.
- Time-outs – a short break from your account, from 24 hours to several weeks.
- Self-exclusion – close your account for at least six months.
Block all UK gambling sites at once
GAMSTOP is a free service that lets you exclude yourself from every online gambling site licensed in Great Britain in one step, for six months, one year or five years. You can also install blocking software on your devices, and many UK banks let you turn off gambling transactions in their app.
Where to get free, confidential help

Protecting under-18s
Gambling is only legal for adults aged 18 and over, and licensed casinos verify every customer's age. If children use your devices, keep your login details private and consider parental-control software such as Net Nanny or Qustodio to block gambling websites.
If you feel gambling is no longer fun, stop now. Call the National Gambling Helpline free on 0808 8020 133, any time of day or night.
